ISSFAL Elections – President Elect
Possibly the most important role in any organisation is that of President. Philip Calder has been our president for the past two and half years and his term of office will expire in March next year. According to the rules of the Society he will be succeeded by Susan Carlson, current President Elect, and an election must be held to choose her successor.
Any member is entitled to put themselves forward for election to this post. Your nomination should be accompanied by a 500 word Candidate Statement and supported by three ISSFAL members, please include their names and positions with your candidate statement. It must be received by end of January 2012 latest.
Voting, scheduled for February 2012, will be by all members by secret electronic ballot.
Please note this position will play a hugely influential role helping to take the Society forward over the next six years. If you feel you can contribute to this we look forward to receiving your nomination.
The President Elect sits as a member of the Executive Committee of ISSFAL for a period of three years, and then in the normal course of events for two further periods of three years as President and Past President.
Nominations, or requests for further information, should be addressed to Peter Clough, Honorary Secretary and sent to him by email at email@example.com.
