Keep your membership active without interruptions — enroll in auto-renewal to enjoy continuous access to member benefits (exclusive content, discounted event registration, the member directory, and member-only offers) without having to manually renew each year. Auto-renewal saves time, prevents accidental lapses, and ensures uninterrupted access to your benefits and subscription pricing.

Automatic Renewal Program Terms and Conditions

By enrolling in membership, you agree that your membership will automatically renew at the end of each term unless you cancel before the renewal deadline. We will notify you in advance of an upcoming automatic renewal and provide simple ways to cancel.

If your initial membership term is 12 months or longer, we will send a notice of the first automatic renewal—and annually thereafter—no fewer than 30 days and no more than 60 days before the deadline to cancel. This notice will state that the membership will renew, the renewal price, the cancellation deadline, and how to cancel, including helpful links.

Your membership will renew at the same membership type most recently associated with your account. You may change membership types at any point during the year and will be responsible for any additional fees associated with the new member type. Membership fees may change from year to year. Automatic renewals will be charged at the then-current rate.

The Society will send email notifications about pending automatic renewal charges to the primary email address associated with your membership account. You are responsible for maintaining a current, active email address capable of receiving ISSFAL emails as the primary email address associated with your account.

Auto-renewal means your membership will automatically renew at the end of its term so you keep access to member benefits without interruption. You’ll receive an advance notice before each renewal that shows the renewal cost and cancellation deadline.

How do I cancel?
You can cancel any time before the deadline shown in your renewal notice.

Go to Account Info → Billing → Customer Portal. You’ll be directed to a secure page where you can cancel your membership. You can also cancel by contacting us at (202) 417-7225, emailing admin@issfal.org.

Will I be charged automatically?
Yes. Unless you cancel by the stated deadline, we will charge the payment method on file for the renewal term amount listed in your notice.
