Dear Colleagues,

We regret to inform you that the 2020 ISSFAL Congress scheduled for June 14-17, has been CANCELLED due to the Coronavirus epidemic in China.
For the Society, this was a very difficult decision in many respects, but at the end of the day, this action was unavoidable.  Our thoughts go out to the people of China and those affected globally by the coronavirus outbreak and hope for a swift end to it. 

The Society has decided to move ahead with planning for its next Congress which is now scheduled for July 4 - 7, 2021 in Nantes, France.  This location was originally scheduled for the 2022 Congress, but we have been able to move it forward to 2021.

The Congress organizers will be meeting in the coming months to review the proposed schedule of events and make decisions on a range of items including speaker invitations, abstract collection and other logistics. As the program develops, we will announce these in due course including an updated Congress website.

For those of you who have registered for the 2020 Congress already, a full refund will be issued to you directly to the credit card used to make the booking. You will be contacted if there are any issues with this. If you would like to retain the registration and have it allocated to the 2021 Congress please let us know asap.

For those of you who have submitted an abstract, you will be contacted with additional information regarding the status of the submitted Abstract and options for 2021.
