How to join ISSFAL?

Membership is annual and runs from January 1 to December 31 of every year in which dues are paid. Join today by completing the application form here. 

How to renew?

Membership is annual and runs from January 1 to December 31 of every year in which dues are paid. Each December ISSFAL closes membership for the current year and opens membership for the following year. Current members can renew their membership by one of the options below.

1. Online

Pay the invoice directly in your renewal email from ISSFAL with a credit card OR you can sign in to your profile here and click "renew".

2. By Check

Please make checks out to ISSFAL and send to the mailing address below.

Access to PLEFA

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS for Prostaglandins, Leukotrienes & Essential Fatty Acids

To assist you to gain your online access, please follow the instructions below:

1. If you have not already done so, you will first be required to register. (If you have completed the registration please go to step 2 below. If you need to check your access status to the journal, skip to Step 3 below).

- Please go to: https://www.plefa.com/ and click on the Register link at the top right of your screen.
- Complete your details in the ‘Print Subscribers’ section and make a note of your new password, click the ‘Continue’ link.
- Complete your profile information.
- Check the box on the right to indicate you have read the user agreement and select the ‘Continue’ link.
- Enter your publication, select the ‘Yes’ button to activate your online access then click the ‘Continue’ link.
- If you are a society member, click ‘Yes’ and select your society: International Society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids
- You then need to enter your e-mail address as your Member/ Account number and your last name. Click ‘Continue’ and you will now have activated your online access.

2. If you have already registered, please go to https://www.plefa.com/ and login with your registered user details then select your journal page.

- You will see a page that says 'To read this article in full you will need to make a payment'. 
- Select 'Already a print subscriber? Claim online access'
- Check the box next to 'I receive my subscription through a society membership'
- You then will enter your e-mail address as your Member/ Account number and your name last name.
- Click ‘Activate Claim’ and you will now have activated your online access.

3. To check if you have already claimed access to the Journal follow the steps below. 

Please go to https://www.plefa.com/ and login with your registered user details. 
- Click on your name in the top right of the page. 
- Select 'My Access' from the drop down menu.
